Project Summary

We were employed to complete this complex temporary roof project for a regular client. This residential building required a roof renewal meaning works had to be completed with the residents in mind.

Implementation

Starting with a site visit the decision was made to complete this project using our system partner Afix Group UK. With their help we were able to deliver a pitched temporary roof allowing the roof renewal to be carried out with full weather proofing; this allowed for a more timely delivery of this residential project.

Feedback

My initial contact with Rule One Scaffolding was after we took a call back in September 2023 when I was first introduced to Richard. Hodgson Roofing regularly receives canvassing calls but there was something different about the call from Richard. Scaffolding as an industry has a poor reputation and standing out from the crowd, Richard was able to provide me with a range of accreditations which included; membership of the scaffolding association, Constructionline and CHAS elite as well as his ISO certification.

I was immediately impressed when this call was followed up with a full documentation pack plus his full insurances.

I asked Richard to quote on a small project initially so I could get an understanding of how their quoting system, initial set up and also the deconstruction of the scaffolding at the end of the project would work. From the start of this small project, Richard and his team delivered an exceptional service to our company and clients.

We have since used Rule One Scaffolding on a number of larger projects, with this most recent project in Stanmore, which included a tin hat on a residential block of flats. As always Richard and his team delivered an outstanding service, on time, with great communication. Nothing was too much trouble and they kept us informed throughout the whole journey.

Our clients in this case were a building management company, who required a reroof on a residential building where the tenants were remaining in situ throughout the project. The scaffolding needed to be erected at a time convenient to the residents, access arrangements needed to be in place throughout the whole of the project and we needed to be able to give 100% guarantee of the safety of the scaffolding during the time it was on site. One of the most important parts of any building/ roofing project is how we leave a site, Rule One Scaffolding agreed a date to deconstruct the scaffolding and ensured that everything was removed from site, leaving minimal disruption to any of the landscaping surrounding the property.

Hodgson Roofing has built its reputation on our client feedback, therefore working with suppliers that we can reply upon is essential to maintain our professional reputation.

We look forward to working with Rule One Scaffolding on many more project in the future.
